With nearly three decades of experience in education, spanning primary to secondary levels, and having served as a Student Wellbeing Coordinator, Leonie understands the importance of empowering individuals. She provides tools and mindfulness techniques to help reduce the impacts of stress, anxiety, and depression.
Leonie is particularly passionate about supporting clients through various life transitions. She has a special interest in assisting young adults with chronic illnesses as they navigate independence, university, and work. Her background in education allows her to appreciate the myriad of issues faced by students, parents, carers, teachers, and non-teaching staff.
Leonie values the importance of family, friends, and community involvement. She believes that both cats and dogs make wonderful pets, offering comfort and moments of mindfulness. Have you noticed how having a pet can keep you calm?
Philosophy: “Life is what you make it, but sometimes a helping hand is needed to enrich your journey.”
